Turnin For Oil is a product of years of research. He was born here on the ranch and is what the quarter horse is all about. He can work a cow, turn on a dime and is quiet enough for anyone to ride him. He loves to run barrels and does it well.

With Twister's foundation breeding on the top side (Daddy was our cutting horse) and his race breeding on the bottom side (Momma had a speed index of 81) he can compete in any speed event.

Twister has the intelligence and quickness it takes to stay among todays top barrel racers. We expect to see great things from this colt.

NEWS FLASH: Twister is a money earner! His first official jackpot and he won 3D money with 1/2 second splits. He is gritty and tough. With the style of a cutter, he attacks the barrels with a vengence.

Twister has amazed us with his talent each and every day. He has turned out to be one of the most enjoyable horses to be around and get to know!!!!
 
Twister has managed to win the hearts of many people, with his looks, bloodlines, and dispostion. We were blessed in many ways with this colt!!!!

His sire, Mr Flite Oil, was an awesome cutter. Still winning money at 21 years old, he was tough. His grand dam is in the NCHA Hall of Fame. Mr Flite Oil was also a producer, both Shortys Doll and Slide in Flite are on our performance  page. He also has point earners and money winners in the cutting and roping pens.

Twister's dam only ran four races on the track but that was enough to achieve an 81 SI. She was a grand lady. She joined us late in life and Twister was her gift to us. With the likes of Native Dancer and Three Chicks in her pedigree we knew her foal would be fast and we were right.
