Perlinos are a pale ivory color with pink skin and blue eyes. The cream gene is responsible for the palomino/buckskin
color. The perlino is homozygous for the cream gene. The cream gene is a dominant trait, thus it is
always expressed. For this reason, the perlino stallion will always produce palominos, buckskins or smokey blacks when
crossed on non-grey mares.
